Bridgewater, Va. – This year Bridgewater College will once again host its annual trick or treating event for the children of the Bridgewater community. The trick or treating will be held on Oct. 28 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The event is usually held in the residence halls, and families are able to receive candy from students at their doors. In order to keep the community safe in the midst of Covid-19, BC clubs and organizations will be handing out treats outdoors. This year’s celebration “will be hosted on the campus mall,” said senior Resident Advisor Mariah Megginson.

All clubs and organizations are welcome to show their support to our community by signing-up to attend the Halloween celebration.

“I love Halloween. I think it’s a really cute holiday,” said sophomore volleyball player Ashley Casey. “I love seeing how excited the kids are to get candy and show their costumes.”

Student Life has offered to provide the candy; therefore, all students must do is carve out time and bring their ghoul-friends to the campus mall. Interested students should contact Coordinator of Student Engagement and Leadership Sam Schlernitzauer.
