Palms begin to sweat as I hear the man in uniform call out my name.
Chest erupts with trembles of panic, like teeth chattering on a cold winter’s day.
Head slowly triggers a buzz, sending vibrations through my entire frame.
I feel my mothers eyes burning,
Her tan tired hand grasps my wrist
Warning me:
