Bridgewater, Va. – Bridgewater Coffee Company, located just minutes from campus, does more than just serve coffee. They also offer a cozy atmosphere for Bridgewater College students and community members alike. 

“The beverages at Bridgewater Coffee aren’t the only thing they’re known for,” said sophomore Courtney Larrick. “The ambiance and decor there really makes their customers, like me, feel cozy and at home.”

In addition to coffee, the shop sells smoothies, teas, pastries and more.

There are new things ahead for the menu as well. This spring, Bridgewater Coffee Company plans to sell acai bowls — which are healthy, thick smoothie bowls with an acai berry base and usually topped with fruit.

Bridgewater Coffee Company welcomes students to come study or relax in the shop while enjoying something refreshing from the menu. The shop offers a 10% discount if you show a Bridgewater College student I.D.

There are several different ways to order from Bridgewater Coffee Company if you are on-the-go. They offer call-in orders and mobile orders that can be made through the Odeko app.

“Coffee shops have always had a warm, welcoming, inviting atmosphere that I’ve always loved, because it surpasses human barriers and brings together people from all walks of life, of all ages,” said Bridgewater Coffee Company owner Jenna Matthews. “This is what coffee is supposed to be about and that is my passion.”
