Bridgewater, Va. – Anita’s Decadent Delights is a full-service bakery located in the heart of the Town of Bridgewater. The shop is within walking distance of the college and offers options for special occasions or a treat on the go. 

The shop has a large menu of baked goods including over one hundred different cake and cupcake flavors that rotate throughout the year. 

“I have tried it once and what I had was given to me by a friend,” said senior Mayela Milian-Hernandez. “She had a good amount of different baked goods and it was really good. I wish I had gone more and known about it sooner, but I guess that means I will have to come back and try them whenever I visit.”

The bakery is excited to celebrate their tenth anniversary at their Bridgewater location. Looking forward to spring, new seasonal goods are coming out as well. 

Anita’s Decadent Delights welcomes Bridgewater College students to come pick up a baked good on the go. While the storefront is fully stocked, they recommend calling in for specific flavor orders.

The bakery has felt support throughout the pandemic and extended their appreciation to the community. 

“During this pandemic, we have received nothing but support not only from the town of Bridgewater, but from residents spread all throughout Rockingham and Augusta counties,” said Anita’s Decadent Delights. “Our business has absolutely flourished in the midst of this, and it is such a blessing to be so fortunate.”
