Therapy Dogs

Life is undeniably better with a dog by your side,” said first-year Shaun Butler. The kindness and the gentleness of therapy dogs is shown to help students manage stress, as time spent petting and interacting with a dog can have positive effects on an individual’s emotional well-being. Therapy dogs are making a total of eight visits to campus this semester, with upcoming dates of Dec. 2, 6 and 7. They will be on the FLC patio, or the Eagle’s Nest in the case of rain, from 3-4 p.m. (Photo by Chiedozie Osondu)
