Artistic Director and junior, Angela Tolomei in “Reclaiming Cunt.” This is not the first time “The Vagina Monologues” have tried to make it to Bridgewater College’s stage. Tolomei said, “It started as something that everyone has been starting to do. So about 10 years ago they put it up and it got taken down, but we did it.”“The Vagina Monologues” were published in 1994 and every February women come together to fight for what is theirs. The cast was full of confident and courageous women standing up for all women and their vaginas.Sophomore Lea Njosa in “Hair.” The cast members relied on each other for confidence. Njosa said, “Angie was my inspiration. She’d always just be like, ‘Just do it. It’s you, just do it.’ She supports your decision.”Director and junior Georgia Howard in “My Angry Vagina.” The directors wanted the atmosphere to be cozy and inviting, a safe place to talk about vaginas. Howard said, “We wanted to dress in anything that makes you feel confident to talk about vaginas.”
