Bridgewater, Va.- Harrisonburg Farmers Market is a free, perfect Saturday morning activity filled with a variety of local vendors ranging from food and coffee to jewelry.

The Harrisonburg Farmers Market gives local vendors an opportunity to be showcased to the community.

“Every season, we have a new couple of vendors, such as Crazy Fox Coffee,” said Jane Davis, operational manager of Harrisonburg Farmers Market. “What we try to do is take community producers and farmers and give them a place to sell their products and connect with the community.”

The several vendors that the market hosts can be found on their website.

Many community members enjoy visiting the Harrisonburg Farmers Market on outing downtown.

“My friends and I decided to shop around Downtown Harrisonburg and found the cutest farmers market,” said customer Riley Molineaux. “Everyone here is so friendly and my friends and I will definitely be coming back here.”

With multiple vendors, there is something for everyone here.

“I really like Ryan’s Fruit Market,” said Davis. “It is run by Patrick and Rebecca Ryan.  They are a married couple and Patrick’s family has been doing this for about 60 years. They do apples and peaches later in the season, and Rebecca does these beautiful paintings.”
