Many students attended this event throughout the day. “I love doing henna. I have been doing it since I was seven years old,” said Sitarah. “ I love free handing and seeing what comes out.”
'
Junior Kate Guber was one student who attended the henna event. “This design is very beautiful,” said Guber. “Hennas last a while, and I am excited to see how it fades.”
'
Sitarah also had paintings on display to buy. “When I didn’t have skin to work on, I turned towards art,” said Sitarah. “This was another outlet for my creativity.”
'
First-year Sarah Flockhart got henna done at the event as well. “I love the flower patterns on it,” said Flockhart. “She did a really good job, I love it.”
'
Assistant Office Coordinator Rachel Scaglione also got henna at this event in honor of her birthday. Her henna read “Happy Birthday Rachel!”
'
“I love the design. It is beautiful and unique. It also smells like lavender.” said junior Jalyn Sneary, who got henna done. “Sitarah is very sweet. She seems very excited to work with the Bridgewater students today.” You can find Sitarah on Instagram and Facebook at @Artofhennas.
