Head coach Adam Posey made a pitching change for the EMU Royals by putting sophomore right-handed pitcher Dylan McClellan on the mound. McClellan sits at an 8.7 earned runs allowed (ERA) average for the season.

Bridgewater Eagles coaches and players, number 16, junior Zack Chadwell and number 11, junior Trent Holland, observe the new pitcher for EMU. The coaches shared encouragement to their players to help maintain their lead to win the game.

Junior infielder Nick Stavros, number 8, is up to bat. Stavros ended the game with two hits and two runs batted in on 6 plate appearances.

First baseman for EMU, Erik Wilkerson, holds on to the runner, number 10 Lucas Bauer. Bauer took his lead while also staying close enough to the bag to not get picked off.

The Eagles defense runs off the field as they get three outs to finish the inning. Players and coaches high fived each other as they got ready to swing the bat and score some runs.

Sophomore infielder, number 12, Chandler Valbak walks up to the plate ready for his at bat. Chandler had two hits and 2 runs batted in while also scoring twice.

Right handed pitcher junior Andrew Baugher takes the mound to start the bottom of the 5th inning. The junior out of Grottoes, Virginia, pitched two innings where he gave up three hits and one run.

Sophomore, number 7, Ashton Smith bats with a runner on first, hoping to move him around the bases. Smith did just that, as he went on to hit a home run in center field to up his total of RBIs this season to 42.
