Eco Action Club Plans Climate Strike
Strike is planned for Friday, Sept. 20, at varying times
Teshome Molalenge, Director of Sustainability, spoke about the potential for a climate strike near Dinkel Avenue.
“Why do we have no solar panels on campus?” asked Tim Kreps, Associate Professor of Biology
Molalenge said a solar panel project for the roof of the library was not approved, but he is planning to resubmit the proposal next year.
In response to the global climate strike associated with Greta Thunberg this Sept. 20, we as professors and students are brainstorming ways to participate in the movement from Bridgewater College. During our meeting we discussed ideas for hosting events on campus that will be informative and engaging regarding the topic of climate change.
