Junior Tony Cadle makes his way down the hill. Cadle placed 34th out of 116 competitors. “The race went well, the team stepped up and made an improvement on last year’s performance. It’s really good to see everyone’s hard work pay off,” said Cadle.
Senior Vinny Leo passes the 2k mark. Leo ran a 28:26 8k.
“This may have been my last ODACs; I don’t know if I will be back for another cross country season. I gave all I could give in this race,” said Leo. “The season is still not done, because we have regionals to look up to. Then track, but if this is my last cross country season, it’s not the best season I’ve had, but I can look back and be grateful. We live to run another day.”
Junior Mikey Toms makes his way down the hill to the 2k mark. Toms ran an average of 7:21 per mile. “Not the outcome we were wanting, but given the circumstances, we did really good,” said Toms.
