Bridgewater, Va.- Josh Davidson is a local musician from Elkton, Virginia who started performing in the Valley five years ago and makes weekly appearances performing in Bridgewater.

“I’ve always loved singing,” said Davidson, “I got into performing because so many people told me I would not succeed.”

Davidson is a driven musician that decided to give music a try, and now five years later is performing every weekend and every Thursday at Magnolia’s Taco and Tequila Bar in Bridgewater.

As a musician, Davidson reads the crowd at his events to see what they respond to. Throughout the night, he played many classic artists including The Grateful Dead, Zac Brown Band and Willie Nelson.

In addition to singing, Davidson also performs with his guitar.

“The greatest thing coming from performing live music is being able to work with other artists, give them guidance and watch them grow,” said Davidson. “It gives me a thrill.”

Many patrons stayed at the restaurant for the duration of the performance, and cheered after each song. Patrons suggested songs for him to play, and Davidson played them with precision.

“I enjoy how interactive he is with his audience,” said Magnolia’s Taco and Tequila Bar manager Keirstin Roadcap. “He genuinely cares about what the crowd responds to. He has a beautiful voice and is such a nice guy.”

In addition to his weekly performances at Magnolia’s, you can find Josh Davidson at many other events in the Valley. To find out where Josh Davidson is performing, visit his Facebook or Instagram, @JoshDavidsonMusic.
