Estrella Ramos ‘27 and Luis Gutierrez Palacios ‘25 share a presentation about Noche Buena, a Roman Catholic holiday, celebrated on December 24. This holiday is celebrated with friends, family and foods, like Tamales, which are made with family.

The Menorah, a staple of Hanukkah, is a Jewish holiday celebrated over eight nights. It is significant because it celebrates the miracle of the oil burning for eight days so that the second temple could be rededicated.

Sammie Herbst ‘25 presents on Advent, a Catholic holiday that spans the month of December, with the final candle being lit on Dec. 24 or 25. The five candles written in week order are hope, peace, love and joy. The center candle is the Christ candle.
