Fredericksburg-based sculptor Sarah Spencer White’s installation titled “with/hold” features a collection of terra sigillata pottery inspired by “curiosity and strangeness of the everyday.” Her art is marked by abstract shapes and heavily influenced by the anatomy of tools, machines and industry. White’s exhibition is in the Beverly Perdue Art Gallery from Feb. 7 to March 16.
