This was Niles’ first time attending the Festival of Colors. “It was really awesome. I really like that so many people came out today,” said Niles. “We threw colors all over the place and bonded with our friends.”

After participants finished having fun by throwing the color powder, they were treated with chicken and veggie Kabobs.

By the end of the powder throwing, participants were covered in different colors. A station with wet wipes to clean off was provided at the event.

“I think it's a great opportunity to destress from classwork and projects we have to turn in by the weekend,” said Qudaih.

Some students believe that Bridgewater should continue to host the Festival of Colors, because it acts as a destresser.

This was Niles’ first time attending the Festival of Colors.

This is the second time Bridgewater College has celebrated Holi on campus.

Before participating in the event, participants were given a brief introduction and history of the holiday, presented by Associate Dean of Students - Diversity and Inclusion Guari Pitale and College Chaplain Robbie Miller.

On Friday, March 17, CEAT and the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion hosted the Holi Festival of Colors.

“‘Defamation’ is the original play that started everything, and in 2021, we released a new play called “Just Caused,” said Parker.
